We will miss you...

We are mourning the loss of our little Andi today. She was taken from us too early and it all happened so quickly. We didn't have time to prepare ourselves. She was a strong and fiesty little dog and we kind of thought she would be around for a long time. She had a great life--she drove us crazy at times with her little neurotic tendancies, but she was loving and sweet and a great cuddler. She was a "sun baby" and loved to sit out and soak up the sun. She always gave morning kisses and loved chewing her cone bone when she was happy. It's hard to imagine our lives without her in it. She brought all of us a lot of joy. Rest in peace Andi. We love you.

The school year coming to an end

Some of Avery's classmates...Shannyn, Samie, Sierra, Avery, Ella, Mikey (the love of the first part of the year) & Owen (the current love) Being silly :)
Chu and I took Avery and Ella out for a special day to celebrate the end of Kindergarten. We went and got the girls their first pedicures! They were so serious the whole time.

Our beautiful toes--the girls were so excited to get flowers painted on their big toes!

The girls were in SILLY mode for the rest of the afternoon--here they are posing with the Buddha at the nail salon.
We ended the evening watching a movie of pictures set to music that Chu spent many many hours putting together. It was pictures of the kids from over the past two plus years--amazing how much they have grown. The mommies were crying watching it--seeing how much they've changed and knowing they are about to be separated when they are right now inseparable. The girls of course provided comic relief by laughing their heads off at the pictures and how silly they looked.
I am so grateful for good friends and grateful that Avery has had such a great first school experience this year and that she and Ella were able to share the experience together.
