The McCauleys, the McDonalds and the Joneses all got together last week. It's been too long! Kendal, Shay and Avery were all born back in the VP-1 baby boom of 2002 :) It was fun to see all the kids playing and dancing and having a great time together.

No, Julie, Kali and I did not all plan the brown shirts :)

Avery is playing soccer again this fall. Sometimes she seems to be having a great time and other times she doesn't want to play...we'll see how this season goes ;)

More Disney!

We spent two more days at Disney over Labor Day weekend. We went down with the McDonalds and rented a house near Disney. We spent the first day at the Magic Kingdom. Cooper has been talking about Donald Duck since our last trip, so we were happy we got to meet him. Cooper wasn't super happy of course, but not as scared as last time!

The kids all did great even though it was about 90 degrees. Coop and Reagan took a time out in the afternoon and even slept in the strollers at the same time for a little bit. The fan sprayer Cooper is holding was a life saver! Avery and Cooper each had one~I learned my lesson from our last visit. I found some for $10 at Dick's Sporting Goods (vs. the $17 they charge at the park!)After the Magic Kingdom we went to dinner at the T-Rex cafe at Downtown Disney. I don't have any pics of that~maybe Julie does :) The kids had fun there, but we were all very wiped out by then. It was nice to go back to the house and let the kids swim and then crash :)

The next day we went to Blizzard Beach, one of Disney's water parks~~a great way to spend a 90 degree day at Disney! We had a fun time~~the big kids and the dads had fun on the big slides and there was plenty for the little ones too :)

We even got some ice cream to cool off at the end of the day...

First day of school!

Today was the first day of school! Avery started first grade at Fleming Island Elementary and Cooper started at a mother's morning out program for 2 year olds called Busy Bees at New Grace church.

They both had a great first day. Avery goes from 8:15-2:25 each day and Cooper goes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:45-12:30. They both eat lunch at school and come home tired--well Cooper anyway:) A great start to the school year :)

Disney!!

We spent two hot days at Disney~Matt was on leave and it is Ave's last week before going back to school, so we decided to brave it! We had a good time, our days were just not as long as they could have been...we're melting!!!! This first picture is not clear because the camera was cool and we had just brought it out into the heat...a little foggy :) Cooper's first time on the Dumbo ride!

The character breakfast...Cooper was very excited to see Goofy...until he got to close "no goofy!"...then he went right back to perfectly happy and excited to see Goofy again as soon as he moved a safe distance away :)

Beach!

We finally made it out to the beach~the kids had fun in the sand and in the waves. It was an overcast day, so that was perfect for those of us still trying to adjust to the Florida heat and sunshine! He did have fun...really!Avery loved playing in the waves.
