SNOW!!!

Wow, we got about 16 inches of snow overnight. The power went out at 10 pm last night--so much for watching to Oscars! The kids and I woke up to a freezing cold house and snow so deep the dogs got lost in it. With Matt being away I am so very grateful to my wonderful neighbors for digging me out--thank you Mike & Jason!!! I am also so grateful for electricity! It came back on around noon.

Reunions and tatoos

My friends from Northeastern and I got together for brunch today--it was so great to see everyone! A few of us hadn't seen each other in 3 or 4 years!

Meanwhile Aunt Adrianne & Uncle Mike were hanging out with Avery & Cooper and I came back to find my almost 2 year old tatooed--ha ha very funny Uncle Mike :)

Skiing!

Avery has been taking ski lessons at Lost Valley in Auburn for the past few weeks. Each week has been less of a struggle to get there--she was not too happy about going, but seems to really enjoy it while she is there and she is mastering the bunny slope:)



Cooper just loves to be out in the snow! He was watching the kids ski.



Yesterday, the instructors took the kids up the ski lift--up the big hill! And they all did great and loved it!



The best part was that Matt got to ski while Avery had her lesson and then after was able to take her up the ski lift and get a few runs in with her.

Another bonus was that Avery switched to Saturdays for the last few weeks of lessons which means she gets to ski with her best friend Ella. Here is Ella and Chu skiing after lessons.

They had some really cool ice sculptures this week--Avery liked the fairy sticking her tongue out at the dragon

Cousins

We enjoyed a quick visit with our super cute niece and nephew who are already 6 months old! They are smiling, giggling and so sweet. (We enjoyed seeing everyone else too :) We were happy to get a few shots of the four kids together. Of course no smiles out of Cooper--Avery hammed it up and Ben & Elizabeth cooperated very nicely :)

Awww...how cute! My parents just brought home Sophie--she is a sweet girl! I can't wait to meet her :)
