The view from 23,000 feet is pretty amazing! I even got to sit up front for a landing and takeoff--very cool!

And besides flying with Matt as the pilot, which was so fun--even though I was nervous at first!--and having 5 kid-free days in near perfect early spring Florida weather--THANK YOU Aunt Sheila, Uncle Dave and Nana!!!--I also found a house for us to rent. It is in Eagle Harbor south of the base on Doctor's Lake. Very nice house and I fell in love with it right away. We expect lots of visitors!!!

Easter

We spent Easter in CT with Nana & Papa. We spent a rainy Saturday keeping busy with an egg hunt at church (the kids with Nana & Papa), the aquarium (of course! Avery & Nana), getting a pedicure (me!) and retail therapy (Cooper, Matt & Terry at the toy store!) Unfortunately because of the rain, Matt & Terry didn't get to fly as planned--toys r us is just as fun right?!

Easter was a beautiful sunny day--a little chilly, but sunny! Avery had fun hunting for eggs and seeing that the bunny had nibbled on the carrots she left him. Cooper got one tast of a chocolate egg and wanted nothing else to do with looking for eggs--he just wanted to eat chocolate! We then had breakfast at the church and attended the service. We came back and friends joined us for a yummy dinner. We had a great weekend.
