Loving the pool!

Avery loves the water slide at the big pool--it's fast!

Today Cooper tried it too--and loved it! Again! Again!He is getting better at 'wimmin' and loves to jump.

I even tried the slide a few times, with Coop and by myself.

Miss Avery loves to swim. Both kids are starting swimming lessons at the YMCA on Monday for two weeks.

We spent an hour at the pool this morning and left just as the dark clouds rolled in--it's supposed to rain for the rest of the day. Glad we squeezed it in!

Happy 4th of July!

Avery was sooo excited for the parade, so even though mommy & daddy were anxious to get out on the water and mommy was less than excited about walking in the heat, we just couldn't disappoint her.

There were cars, fire engines, bikes and golf carts. Everything was fun and fine until Avery took off on her bike, caught up in the fun of it all and gave me my first separated from my child panic attack. I had to call Matt to come pick me up and we raced to the end of the parade where a paniced crying mom was reunited with her crying daughter who was being looked after by a very nice family!

So, things only got better as the day went along...we got to spend some glorious sunny hours out on the McDonald's sweet new boat! This kind of Florida living isn't so bad!

And Avery even tried water skiing and was able to get up out of the water...and loved it!

Cooper wasn't too sure about going fast and kept saying over and over "Don't like it!" By the end the big kids are tired out! But Reagan is happy--she had a nap :) We were all too tired for big fireworks...so after a cookout we settled for checking out neighbors displays on the drive home:)

Catching up with 'old' friends

Avery & Shay have been buddies since they were born. They have always gotten along so well and they still do--amazing! They were so happy to play together--even in an empty house they all had fun! Camden, Shay, Reagan, Avery & Tommy (our friends Ryan & Kerry were also in town visiting! :)

On the move...

We said sad goodbyes and hit the road...making it as far as CT to spend some time with Nana & Papa. Some more sad good byes...then we spent a few days in MD on our way down to FL...here are some cute shots of the cousins together...the babies are so cute!

We arrived in FL and have been hard at work unpacking and getting settled...the kids have been oh so helpful! ;)

We are slowly getting settled. Matt is back to work and the kids and I are finding our summer groove--pool...here we come!
